In early January 2018, we met in Hawaii, and everything moved fast—in the best way. From the very beginning, there was an instant and undeniable connection.

Just 12 days after meeting, May-lee had to catch a flight to Australia. Matt drove her to the airport, and they said goodbye, joking that maybe they’d see each other in another life. Little did they know, only 10 days later, May-lee flew back to Maui. With no place to stay, they decided to move in together right away—trusting their hearts and taking a leap of faith.

Two months later, Matt had to return to Ontario and asked May-lee if she would come visit and see where he was from. Without hesitation, she said yes.

The rest is history.
