Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the same location.
Q: What time should I arrive?
A: Please arrive by 2:30 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 PM.
Q: What is the dress code?
A: Casual but classy. It will most likely be hot outside, so please dress accordingly. There will be lots of grass and gravel, so high heels may not be the most comfortable choice for the evening.
Q: Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?
A: The ceremony will be outdoors, but we will have a chapiteau tent. Please plan accordingly.
Q: Can I bring my children?
A: As much as we love your little ones, the after-party will be a kids-free event. Thank you so much for understanding.
If you are traveling from out of town and are unable to find a babysitter, please reach out—we may be able to help figure something out as we may have a few babysitters on site.
Q: Can I bring a plus-one?
A: If your invitation includes a plus-one, they are more than welcome. Otherwise, we kindly ask that you attend solo.
Q: Will food be served?
A: Yes! We’ll be hosting a cocktail hour around 3:30 PM. Dinner will be buffet-style (pig roast and sides) and served around 6:00 PM.
Q: Will there be an open bar?
A: We’ll be having a toonie bar ($2 per drink). Please note that cards will not be accepted—cash only. Wine will be free. Please note that the bar will be closed during dinner. Wine will be served at the tables.
Q: Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
A: Absolutely. Please let us know when you RSVP.
Q: Is transportation provided?
A: Yes! We will have a driver and van available to shuttle guests from the hotel to the farm, as long as it’s within a reasonable distance.
Shuttle service to the farm will run between 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM. If you require a ride, please let us know in advance and provide your address. We will confirm your designated pick-up time.
The shuttle service back to your home or the hotel will run from 10:00 PM to 12:00 AM, accommodating up to 6 guests at a time.
This service is complimentary, though tips for the driver are appreciated at your discretion.
As the celebration does not have a set end time, guests who choose to stay beyond 12:00 AM may arrange transportation via Uber or taxi.
Q: Can I take photos during the ceremony?
A: We kindly ask that you keep phones away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present.
Q: What happens after the ceremony?
A: Join us for cocktail hour! Family photos will take place from 3:30–4:15 PM, after which the couple will join the celebration. Around 6pm, dinner, speeches, dancing, and lots of celebrating will follow!
